The Educational Farm
Ours is a farm that has been handed down for generations, and today is certified as “Sapori di Campania”, meaning “Flavors of Campania.” A few years ago, we – the Caseria family – renovated the farmhouse built by our grandfather in 1940, and we designated it for use as a holiday and educational farm.
Having lived here our entire lives, it seemed incredible to us that not only children but also teenagers and adults are unfamiliar with the reality of farm-life. With our educational farm proposals, we would like to create an opportunity for direct contact between the agricultural sector and schools.
Our intention is to raise awareness of the rural environment, and enhance the territory and urban-rural relations by revealing the path that leads from the field to the dish, the origins of food products, and the lives of animals through topics developed in experience and laboratories, involving children in a fun way.
Our proposal for the educational farm
- A guided tour will teach you about the natural cycle of grains and hay
- Visit animals such as cattle and sheep and learn about their lives, their food, and milking
- A guided visit to the laboratory for the processing of milk, for the production of cheese, braided mozzarella, ricotta, and caciocavallo

- Help make homemade pasta and bread
- Enjoy a rich environment of native flora and fauna
- Enliven your senses in our large open spaces
- Take a journey back in time to rediscovery the traditions of our land by visiting the museums of rural civilization and observing antique farm equipment
